Social Bookmarking Soulmate

I have found my social bookmarking soulmate! After much soul-searching, I have finally found him! I found him on Delicious where he goes by the username Richardkulisz. We share similar interests; he tags and bookmarks a lot of topics that I am interested in. His number one tag is psychology and his number eight tag is culture, both of which are my interests and are relevant to this blog as well. A lot of his bookmarks are related to psychology and culture, such as Why Are We Happy? Why Are We Unhappy? and Why Money Doesn’t Buy Happiness, which are also relevant to this blog as well.

Richardkulisz has currently bookmarked 1329 pages, which is quite a lot. 182 of his bookmarks are tagged under psychology (his number one tag) and 87 of them are tagged under culture (his number eight tag). A lot of his bookmarks are also tagged under politics, anti-orthodox, history, economics, and USA (his other top tags). Richardkulisz’s tags are pretty well organized. A lot of other bookmarkers tend to tag their pages irrelevantly, inconsistently, or in a way that is only understandable to them such as tagging Changing minds and persuasion – How we change what others think, believe, feel and do under “cv” (only the bookmarker knows what cv stands for and why this page is tagged under it). Richardkulisz, on the other hand, tags his pages accordingly, in a way that is easily recognizable, distinguishable, and comprehendible to himself as well as to others. Richardkulisz does not always add comments to his bookmarks, but he does do it sometimes. The comments he adds are usually either reminders to himself on what the page is about, his thoughts about the page, his ideas related to the page, or just sarcastic notes such as

“RIP homo economicus.”

Richardkulisz has a lot of great resources on psychology and culture, even if they are not relevant to this blog. A lot of the pages he bookmarks and tags under psychology and culture are interesting and could be both useful and helpful to this blog. He also has a lot of great resources on topics that are similar to the topic of this blog as well, such as happiness, motivation, and sociology. A lot of these topics can somehow be integrated into the topic of this blog. For example, No Connection Between Happiness and Wealth? Like Hell!, tagged under “Happiness,” can be integrated into the topic of society’s pressures to be rich or to have money. Richardkulisz also has a lot of great resources on other topics such as politics and economics.

Richardkulisz is a pretty good resource to the topic of society’s pressures on people and their effects on people’s thoughts and behaviors. After a lot of soul-searching, I have found the most companionship in Richardkulisz. He has similar interests; he tags and bookmarks similar topics. He is giving; he has a lot to offer on this topic. He is trustworthy; his tags are well organized. Unfortunately though, he is not exactly a great resource for this blog, he was simply the best out of the bunch.
